We were originally established in 2003 as Mad Mops Domestic Cleaning Services before moving over to a Limited company framework as Mad Mops Agency (domestic cleaning) Ltd where Mark Woollard has been the Managing Director since October 2003 and Paul Woollard joined as director establishing the Surrey operation in April 2004.
In October 2007 Mark established The Ovens and Hobs Cleaning Co to run a complimentary service to Mad Mops customers and to attract a much wider geographic clientele for oven cleaning services. The popularity of the oven cleaning service has created the need for separate management teams.
So that proper attention could be given to both endeavours, Mark decided to look for someone who already had a passion for both Mad Mops Customers and cleaners to hand over the Kent-based domestic cleaning operation to (the Surrey operation would remain with Paul).
MAD MOPS & MAD MOPS Kentarea When Maire and Paddy O’Connor agreed to take Mad Mops on it was the best possible solution. Maire (Irish spelling pronounced Myra) has been cleaning for Mad Mops, also training and managing cleaners since 2005. After leaving for a brief spell in 2011 to start a family she returned as proprietor of Mad Mops Domestic Cleaning Services and Mad Mops Domestic Cleaning Services Kent to which all existing customers and cleaners have been transferred with agreements intact.
Maire has ambitious plans to strengthen the existing service and expand the numbers of customers and cleaners. For her, this opportunity has come at a time in her life when she is ready to use all of her management experience, in hotels pubs and Mad Mops plus her passion and energy, to build a successful business that she and Paddy can be proud of.
Mark is spearheading the Ovens and Hobs expansion, having taken on a new oven cleaning specialist and although he has left Mad Mops to Maire, the close association between the operations will continue with beneficial reciprocal trading arrangements continuing.
MAD MOPS Surrey area remains in the hands of Paul Woollard who is now proprietor. All existing Surrey area customers and cleaners have now been transferred with agreements intact to what is now Mad Mops Domestic Cleaning Services Surrey.
